Here they discuss the importance of counseling as part of the speech pathology process, ways that technology has affected speech and fluency disorders such as stuttering, and the importance of a person’s environment in influencing how they may communicate despite a stutter. They also touch on the value of having a person who stutters come and talk to students who are studying speech pathology.
