This week, Pastor Greg wraps up our 'Next' series by unpacking four attributes of a kingdom heart. He speaks about having a kingdom-mindedness in what God has called us to do, specifically in and through the work of the church.

Pastor Greg teaches from Matthew 6:19-24 and 1 Timothy 6:6-11, reminding us that the love of money is a trap that leads us away from God. In a world that constantly tells us that more is better—more money, more possessions, more recognition—God calls us to something different. He calls us to a life of contentment, where our joy and satisfaction are rooted not in material wealth but in our relationship with Him. Godliness with contentment is great gain, and when we have God, we have enough.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Jesus' teaching from Matthew 6:21 reminds us that our hearts and treasures are inseparably linked. Pastor Greg builds on this by emphasizing that the most important thing is a heart transformed by the gospel—one that sees Christ as preeminent and recognizes that everything belongs to Him, as He created and holds it all together. Generosity is unleashed when ownership is released back to the one that created it all!

Just as Jesus loves the lost and meets them where they are, we are called to do the same. We should extend the grace that God has shown us to those around us and be intentional in our prayers for those who have yet to find the Savior. Pastor Greg encourages us to not only pray for the lost but also to ask God to place someone specific on our hearts, guiding us to engage with them passionately and purposefully, sharing the love and grace of Christ.
