This episode we explore a little more into the backstory of Style Therapy. While the idea of this conversation came to mind (while getting dressed ironically) I thought it would be dope to welcome a licensed clinician into the space to share her thoughts and ideas on the topic.
Let's unpack the concept of Style Therapy. Clothing plays an important part in how we shine in the world. Its time we got more intentional about how we adorn our bodies.
This week I am sharing a conversation I had back in 2021 with Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Author Ashley Palmer. Listen as she shares her resonance with the concept of Style Therapy and Dressed in Motherhood.
Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, children's book author, and an advocate of social awareness to address mental health challenges.
As a Baltimore City native, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University.
Ashley utilizes a liberation focused framework when working with clients, while taking a trauma-informed, eclectic approach to therapy. She values increasing client autonomy, insight and awareness, within the system in which they live and operate.
