This is a replica of a fossil, of a skull belonging to a young prehistoric child from Mojokerto, East Java. The fossil is thought to be a Homo erectus. Although still very young, this skull is, according to experts, the oldest fossil of a juvenile Homo erectus found in Indonesia, or possibly even in the world.

This is the fossil of Homo soloensis number nine. Homo soloensis is the name given to fossils of Homo erectus found along the Bengawan Solo River. In total, there have been 14 skulls found in the sites of Ngandong (in Blora), Sambung Macan (in Sragen), and Ngawi, between 1931 and 1933.
