In this episode of The JCast Journey, host Darone Ruskay talks about the disappearance of subcategories in the section of iTunes that has podcasts.

Darone posits that this is because of the plan in October to end iTunes and put in its place a dedicated podcast application (like is already the case on the iPhone and iPad), but in the meantime the lack of subcategories impacts the ability for people to browse for new content.
