On April 15th, a historic resistance spread across 82 cities, spanning 18 countries and 6 continents coordinating economic blockades in solidarity with Palestine.
Inspired by the Palestinian resilience and anti-colonialist struggle, protesters worldwide autonomously carried out actions at nearly a dozen ports, blockaded three international airports, and shut down numerous commercial highways. The movement shut down operations in 20 factories worldwide, in a rage against their complicity in the occupation of Palestine.
Why did the call for economic blockades on April 15th spread like wildfire across the world? 75 years of occupation is too long. The destruction and genocide in Gaza was the final straw.
The fight for Palestinian freedom cannot be won through symbolic actions. The actions taken on April 15th cost hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars to an economy that profits off of colonialism and war. Escalation has just begun.
Palestine must be free in our lifetime.
On April 15th, people from over 30 cities around the world will launch a global economic blockade answering the call from Gaza to fight for a liberated Palestine.
75 years and 182 days into this US backed genocide we must take collective risk beyond symbolic acts of solidarity.
On April 15th, we will block logistical hubs to stop the flow of capital worldwide.
This is just the beginning.
We will not cooperate with the police.
Join us in organizing towards our collective liberation
For months now Israel has waged a brutal bombing campaign against Gaza. With state of the art technology, the IDF uses algorithms to generate a seemingly unending list of potential targets with a low filter for collateral damage resulting the highest rate of civilian casualties of any war of this century.
On December 30th, Klee Benally joined the ancestors. Klee was a Diné anarchist, author, musician, land defender and community organizer based in the occupied lands of so-called Flagstaff Arizona. He was an influential and powerful voice who consistently challenged anarchists in Turtle Island to kill the colonizer in their own heads, and to incorporate an anticolonial analysis into their political frameworks.
This interview was conducted with Klee in 2019, as part of Trouble #18: ACAB. In it, he discusses the colonial roots of policing in the so-called United States, and the experiences of racial profiling faced by Indigenous people living in the cities that dot the colonial border between the US and Mexico.
Those who haven't done so should check out Klee's writings online, including his book No Spiritual Surrender: Indigenous Anarchy in Defense of the Sacred, published in 2023 by Detritus Books.

The Racketeer-Influenced Corrupt Organizations or RICO Act has had a long and sordid history as a tool of state repression in the United States. Originally intended to dismantle large organized crime groups like the Mafia, this set of laws criminalizing membership in organizations engaged in “racketeering activity” has been applied to groups as diverse as the Black Liberation Army, the Puerto Rican independence movement, Donald Trump, and Atlanta elementary schoolteachers.
By levying trumped up charges and attempting to hold the entire movement culpable for specific actions, proponents of Cop City had hoped to divide and conquer by separating the more militant segments of the movement from their broader base of support. But thanks to the steadfast solidarity of the Stop Cop City movement, this has so far been unsuccessful.
As the first 61 RICO defendants are arraigned, the movement holds its breath. Public support is needed now more than ever. There’s still time to join the Block Cop City gathering in Atlanta from Nov 10th through 13th, or organize an autonomous solidarity action near you.
Cop City will never be built.

On October 7th 2023 the Palestinian paramilitary group Hamas launched a surprise attack into the territories ruled by the Israeli state. In turn, the Israel Defence Forces has launched a campaign of bombings of primarily civilian targets and have cut off all power and fuel supplies, and further choked off water and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Western media outlets have kicked into high gear to present Hamas as bloodthirsty monsters and Israel as innocent victims, and righteous defenders of their homeland, while purposely omitting over 70 years of historical context.
Hamas’ bloody attack occurred within a context of generations of brutal occupation and the systematic displacement of Palestinians from their lands. The state of Israel, guided by Zionist ideology and sanctioned by the UN and imperial powers in the west, has been gradually conquering and stealing Palestine land since the Nakba in 1948
The utterly disproportionate response from Israel has destroyed hospitals, refugee camps, and damaged or destroyed 45% of all homes in Gaza. This has stoked renewed fears that Israel will go for broke, in an effort to displace all Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, permanently.
The time for meaningful solidarity with Palestine is now. Much of the munitions and military hardware used by the IDF is manufactured in the west, primarily in the US.
From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free.

Early on the morning of October 30th, a crowd descended on INKAS Armored, a Toronto-based defence contractor with ties to the Israeli Defence Forces. Responding to a call from Palestinian trade unions for workers around the world to shut down exports to the Israeli military, the protesters set up picket lines to block access to the facility.
The Israeli state is carrying out a massacre in Gaza with bombs, tanks and weapons manufactured in several countries in the so-called West. As the world watches the unfolding situation in horror, one way of moving beyond vigils and rallies entails finding effective ways to target this supply of arms.
For the past six months, the Ethiopian regime, Eritrean army and allied militias have been waging a genocidal campaign in Tigray under the auspices of fighting the TPLF. The conflict has seen scores of atrocities, including massacres, forced starvation, and the systematic rape of Tigrayan women.
This May Day, comrades from the Horn Anarchists are calling for a week of international solidarity actions to put pressure on the Ethiopian regime to end the conflict and withdraw from the region.
