Part 1 of 3
Garry Ingraham grew up in a Christian family -- though it was a home without much warmth or love. On top of this, the church the family attended was legalistic. Turning Inward:
Garry felt like an exhausted, old man by the age of 21. He cried out, "Jesus, I've made a total disaster of my life. I don't even know if you want what's left of it, but if you do, you can have it!" That was it -- things started to change.
Shame, addiction, and sexual brokenness began to fall away. He found a Christian community where he was both accepted and called to masculinity. Today's he's happily married to Melissa (a one-time lesbian) and they have two sons.
After 12 years of church ministry, Garry founded Love & Truth Network, a ministry that comes alongside Christian leaders to help equip them to create redemptive, compassionate and transformational environments for people experiencing all kinds of relational and sexual brokenness.
