Subtle Propaganda

One hell of a week! We discuss, in three parts, the violent situation that unfolded in D.C. this past week. We open up a tough topic—What should sedition look like? Drew gets us organized as we dive into the antecedents of the violence (23:41), what unfolded the day of (49:31), and what our expectations are for the future (1:18:26). We welcome 2021 by opening with reviews of our favorite games, movies, books and pretty much anything in pop culture in the last year. In this week's episode, we dive into cyberpunk's console lunch failure—Sony and Microsoft's response to the disaster and the current gaming environment. We switch to aliens. Are aliens real? In this week's episode we catch up with one another about our Thanksgiving escapades before moving headlong into some wonderful content. Drew was lucky enough to score a dub and snagged a PS5 but that couldn't keep our attention as we quickly pivoted to the Middle East, Obama Era foreign policy, and doctrines of warfare more generally. Alex Jones on JRE was annoying. We give our election predictions, which lead to foreign policy and the Treaty of Versailles. The show ends with our favorite war movies and the Mandalorian.
