Fear of Failure: This is a massive one for so many of us, we have a fear of failure, a fear of what others will think if we fail. The truth is – the only way you can fail is to not try at all and the right people will not only respect your attempts but they will respect your confidence to back yourself and give it a go.
Guilt: This often comes from two sources – fear of doing something wrong or fear of someone else thinking you are doing something wrong

We are so excited to have Michelle Gorton from Gorton IP Lawyers sharing the importance of protecting your business and ideas and how to do it!
I love Emma Isaacs’ concept of “winging it” and there is plenty of opportunity to “wing it” but similarly to the Business Chicks founder we do not believe in ‘winging it’ when it comes to your finances. Here are a few things to consider when it comes to pricing.
Gratitude, by definition, is the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. It doesn’t mean that everything is exactly how you want it to be or that your life is perfect. Its an act of appreciation for either how things are or even from what you have learned from it and the impact it has had on your life in whatever capacity or way that might be.

Every time you speak, make sure you are speaking about your life the way you would speak if you were already living your goal lifestyle. Its not to trick yourself or anyone else for that matter, it is about shifting your mindset to actively look for the opportunities that will bring this lifestyle closer to you, it is about making choices out of preference rather than “fight or flight” mode.
So many gorgeous women come to me with the same problem, “I struggle so much to fit in holidays now that I work for myself” and I can completely relate to that sense of restriction, however it is one thing to relate to a common problem it is another to accept it for your life. For years I hid behind that very same excuse. The truth is when you first start work yourself you have to be the apprentice, the cleaner, the receptionist, the CEO and everyone else in between! How are you ever going to fit in holidays? The truth is how are you ever going to survive without making time to rest and refuel.

Sharing content is a way of communicating, educating and adding value to the people within your community even when you aren’t able to be physically with them. It is so important that you use this communication to build your influence and make an impact. We want to share all our tips to make sure you are giving your community content that continually reminds them that you are the expert in your industry so that you are at the front of their mind.
Have you ever forgotten to brush your teeth one night? It happens! But the next morning you jump straight back into your routine (hopefully!) Why should your business be any different? So often we see people start to fall short of their performance expectations and start to lose consistency within their business and the service they are offering. We want to make sure as soon as you identify this shift in consistency you have a plan to get back into giving consistent value rather than waiting to start again “on Monday” or “next month”. You wouldn’t let your dental hygiene fall out of a consistent priority and neither should the value you are offering your business and community.
The truth is you are never going to have enough money if that is the story you continue to tell yourself. Spend the next month tracking all your finances, not just your wage or invoice but any money that comes into your account, money you find when you are doing your laundry, under the car seat and even in the back pocket of an old wallet - track everything. There are two things I can guarantee, firstly there is more money coming to you that you were aware of and secondly, you weren’t aware of how much you were spending.
