For years I dreamt of New Years in New York City, to wonder the streets of New York with champagne and snow while dancing into the New Year. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the place tickets never just fell into my lap. It wasn’t until the start of last year that I decided I was done with dreaming I wanted to live my goals. I made a budget, I researched, I planned my fabulous outfit (obviously) and ticked off every step it took to make my dream a goal. As I post this blog I have been back from New York for almost a week and I can without a doubt say the reality of my goal was far more fabulous that my dream. Your dreams will never work unless you do.
