  • Mitchell Beinhaker on the Success, Motivation & Inspiration podcast
I’m excited to be sharing the wisdom of Mitchell Beinhaker with our audience today! Mitch is a business attorney with more than 25 years of experience working with small business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals. He advises businesses through all phases of operation including start-up, business development and the legal aspects of running a business.
Mitch runs his own corporate and business advisory practice in Cranford, New Jersey. He often speaks at workshops and is the host of his own podcast: “The Accidental Entrepreneur” which focuses on helping business owners achieve success on purpose, not by accident. Welcome, Mitch!
Below are some insights from Mitchell Beinhaker. Enjoy!
What is your personal definition of success?
I define success as being able to create some financial freedom while doing things that you love and are good at. This will vary from person to person depending on their personal needs and wants, financial situation, and areas of interest.
Can you share the steps you take daily to improve?
I try to make one new connection per day to grow my personal network. This might be a personal meeting or an online connection. But I want to meet or be introduced to someone I can add to my mailing list and introduce them to my “world”.
Tell me about a specific moment that set you on the path you’re on now?
I’ve always had an interest in business and entrepreneurship. I don’t know if there was any single particular moment, but I have always gravitated to running my own practice or even being entrepreneurial in a corporate position. As a lawyer, I’ve always considered myself more as a business person than a legal professional.

Which character traits do you value most?
Honesty, integrity, and keeping to promises
How do you push through tough times?
When times are tough, I focus on ways to solve the problem – whether that is to generate more business, raise capital, restructure, etc… Too many people get stuck focusing on the problem and never see the solution. There is always another option – you just have to look for it.
    What inspires you?
People that overcome difficulties in life.
How do you manage and prioritize opportunities?
Probably by staying organized and good use of technology.
What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
Learn as much about business and entrepreneurship as possible including taking different jobs with the goal of expanding knowledge and learning.

What is your personal definition of success?
Success is making a contribution to the society with your gift and getting handsomely rewarded financially as a byproduct
Can you share the steps you take daily to improve?
    1. Morning and evening learning French for half an hour
    2. Listening to podcasts on self-development and business while taking subways or jogging
    3. Meditating for 5 minutes a day in the evening
What is your advice for someone making an important decision?
Make a heart decision, that is, to ask yourself over and over again, “Is this what my heart wants?” “If I make this decision, is it aligned with who I am or who I could become?” “Is it aligned with what I value?” “If I don’t make this decision, will I regret someday?” If that’s what your heart wants, if it’s aligned with who you are, who you could become and your value, then make the decision and you’ll figure out the rest.
Tell me about a specific moment that set you on the path you’re on now?
When I was doing leadership and communication training, participants ask me, “How do we develop our voice?” With the background in developing and using my own voice for singing and radio, that gave me a push to do work on voice.
If you could recommend one book for our audience, what would it be?
There are so many books I’d love to recommend. If it’s to choose only one, I’d recommend: How to Win Friends and Influence People
The key principle in the book is to genuinely care about other people if you want to win friends and influence people. This is gold in everything that we do in life.

Which character traits do you value most?
Integrity, which also includes above mentioned making a decision that aligns with who you are and your values.
How do you push through tough times?
Getting frustrated initially, haha, then realize this is the time that’s for me to grow yet in another area, so I ask myself, “What is it that the universe is signaling to me for growth?” And find ways to work on that area, which most of the times it’s another system upgrade needed for the mindset.
    What inspires you?
    1. Other people’s stories where they were able to overcome struggles and challenges and live a life that’s close to their heart’s desires
    2. Clarity of what I’m here to do on this planet, i.e. my mission
How do you manage and prioritize opportunities?
    I ask myself the question,

I’m excited to be interviewing Ari Meisel today, and I hope to share some of his awesome advice with our audience! Ari is a self-described, “overhwhelmologist” who helps entrepreneurs who have opportunities in excess of what their infrastructure can handle. Ari’s teachings help entrepreneurs to optimize, automate, and outsource everything in their business, so they can make themselves replaceable and scale their business.
Ari has published a number of books and audiobooks including, “IDEA TO EXECUTION”, “THE ART OF LESS DOING”, and “Less Doing, More Living”. I’m listening to his first audiobook called, “THE REPLACEABLE FOUNDER” now!
I think I’m going to be able to learn a lot from him today!
Ari, I saw an interesting sentence on the home page of your website that really got me excited about your interview today. It says, “I’M ARI MEISEL. I empower entrepreneurs to become more replaceable.”

  • Hollie Kitchens on the Success, Motivation & Inspiration podcast
I’m super excited to have the opportunity to interview Hollie Kitchens and share her expertise with our audience! Hollie is the CEO/Founder of the DIY Legend, CEO/Founder of “Lady Legend Boutique”, host to “Unleash Your Inner Legend podcast” and co-founder of “Women Elevation”.
One of Hollie’s core values is continually growing and getting better. If she’s not working or spending time with her family; Hollie dedicates a lot of her time to honing her knowledge both professionally and personally by hiring professional coaches, attending seminars, consuming herself with personal development and surrounding herself with like-minded people.
I love what Hollie describes as her “WHY”: Hollie lives to inspire people to let go of limiting beliefs so that they can unleash their inner legend and live the life they were intended to!
I’ve got a bunch of questions for Hollie. Let’s get started!
Below are some insights from Hollie Kitchens. Enjoy!
What is your personal definition of success?
The first word that comes to mind when I hear success is happiness. I feel like success is living and doing the life you really want to do with the people want to do it with that makes you happy. It’s not an event but a process. It’s living life to your highest standard and not settling, to me that’s a success. I don’t think it matters if you want to live a life full of money and fame or a life of volunteering, success to me is doing what makes you live your why and fuels your passion. I’ve met some pretty lonely millionaires and to me, that’s not a success.
Can you share the steps you take daily to improve?
On a daily basis, I make sure to stretch my mind. Reading a book, listening to an educational podcast or audiobook..something that’s going to make me grow and not get comfortable. Learning from others, especially others excelling at what I want to be doing is the best way to keep me motivated. I also make sure to take time and be present. If I’m working, I’m working. If I’m with family, I’m with family. Being present in the moments that matter the most are a great way to feel accomplished and when I feel accomplished I keep doing more. Being aware of the food I fuel my body is also a huge thing for me. I don’t have a special diet or anything just that awareness and common sense of what is good/bad for me. Lastly, it’s taking time to be grateful and acknowledging my wins for the day. That’s the perfect way to end the day for me.
What is your advice for someone making an important decision?
Always be aware of what you are saying “no” to when you say yes. I think a lot of people tend to do things and overcommit before realizing what they’ve committed to. Take time to bounce the idea off of a mentor or someone you look up to. Allow it to digest, if possible sleep on it. I know I personally can be compulsive on making decisions that cause me to act on emotion vs logic. So I make sure to fully understand what I’m committing to and what that will do for future opportunities. Also, take into consideration of those around you that it will affect. Whatever you go with, make sure it’s bringing you closer to your goals and not distracting you. When I’ve made up my mind on something I ACT on it with no regrets.
Tell me about a specific moment that set you on the path you’re on now?
At first, I’d say when I launched my boutique and was “a real owner” of a business, however, the more I think about it it was when I started real estate. Before real estate I was in banking and when I was released of the corporate constraints I starting to really find my creative outlet on DIY marketing. Being in real estate is a trip – you can go from having the best month ever to the worst.

  • Alexandria Agresta on the Success, Motivation & Inspiration podcast
Today I’m excited to be talking with Alexandria Agresta and sharing some of her insight with our listeners!
Alexandria believes in creating a world where people fully align what they do to make money, with what they do to experience meaning and fulfillment in their lives. This belief instilled an immense drive in her to empower YOU to turn your dreams into a reality. She is known by those who love her as the Empathetic Butt Kicker. She’ll give you a hug, and a butt whoopin’ when you need it most. When you meet her, you’ll know why it fits her so well.
Her company is Purpose Pioneers, where she’s on a mission to empower leaders and entrepreneurs to put their purpose first, so they can live a meaningful life AND do meaningful work. It’s called the Purpose-First Movement.
Below are some insights from Alexandria Agresta. Enjoy!
What is your personal definition of success?
I do what I love…with people who believe what I believe…to make the world and what’s in it better.
Can you share the steps you take daily to improve?
    1) Obsession with self-awareness and talking through things
    2) Sitting with my emotions the moment they come up and understanding them so I can move forward quickly and not dwell
    3) Do things that bring me immense joy
    4) Ask an infinite amount of questions
What is your advice for someone making an important decision?
My philosophy is simple– don’t do anything you don’t want to do. Our mind and body know our HECK YESs and our HECK NOs. Don’t to the freakin’ HECK NOs!! Turn your brain off when fear tries to rationalize, and just leap!
Tell me about a specific moment that set you on the path you’re on now?
My defining moment in life is when my dad got custody of me when I was 7 years old. It changed the trajectory of my life and put me in an environment of unconditional love, expansive thinking, resourcefulness, and unwavering support. My dad has shaped me into the woman I am today.
If you could recommend one book for our audience, what would it be?
The Shack!!!! That book changed my life. You Are A Bad*** is also pretty awesome.

    * The Shack by William P. Young

Which character traits do you value most?
Curiosity– when someone has an infinite quest to dig and understand all things.
Growth– a zest for reaching new limits and expanding beyond what is possible.
Your Own Weirdness– my version of authenticity…when someone is just SO them!
Pioneering Spirit- being brave and going first.
How do you push through tough times?
What a phenomenal question. I take a cannonball into my own black hole of pain. Crazy, huh? I find the most liberation, and the most clarity when I have the courage to look within, sit with the feelings, and understand my pain.
    What inspires you?
The miracles within every present moment inspire me deeply. Playing in the field of possibility also inspires me to the core.
How do you manage and prioritize opportunities?
I prioritize opportunities by asking myself a few meaningful questions– 1) Does this opportunity align with all of my values? 2) Will this opportunity help me further my purpose? 3) Does this opportunity align with my truest, highest self and bring me total joy?
I manage opportunities by living by the rule “do what’s closest to the impact and income.”
What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
I would tell 18-year-old Alex to keep doing exactly what you’re doing. I believe I was designed to experience every single thing on my path, so I wouldn’t want 18-year-old Alex to do anything different than she was doing back then.
