Being connected, especially in the body of Christ is extremely important. So we want to be connected to our church. We want to be connected to accountability partners, and we want to be connected to the ministries that we serve in and be a functioning part of the body of Christ. So today I'm talking about the importance of being connected. I'm going to go over some Bible verses to help solidify why this is important for all of us.

There are times when being alone is good and other times when being alone is bad.  It depends on what you are doing when you are alone. Today I’m going to go through a few situations when people were alone in the Bible.  Some were good alone times. And some were bad alone times.  Let’s talk about it.  

Thanks for listening today.  Hopefully you’ve heard the last two episodes where I spoke about the Gospels and the Epistles and the best places to start when reading your Bible. Today I’m talking about the Old Testament.  As I mentioned before, the entire Bible is extremely beneficial for Christian’s to read so that we can get a full context of who God is and what he has done for us.  As it reads on the book of 2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

So here are some of the most influential Epistles to continue your Bible reading with.

Last week I spoke about the Gospels and how it’s a great place for any new Christian to start reading the Bible.  Once you have familiarized yourself with the Gospels the next step is to explore the Epistles. These are letters written by early Christian leaders to various churches and individuals. These writings offer valuable teachings on faith, love, and how to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ in a complex and changing world.  This is why it’s so relevant for us.  

So here are some of the most influential Epistles to continue your Bible reading with.

It’s is fundamentally essential for Christian’s to read their Bible regularly. If you are a new Christian one of the questions you may ask is where to start?  

Today I’m going to give you some insight as to where you should start. 

A couple of months ago I felt like I was being oppressed by the enemy. I meditated and prayed some bible verses and got the victory. Today I am going to pray for you if you feel like you are being oppressed by the enemy. God has given you life and life abundantly. Anything this is trying to stop that is trying to oppress you.

Recently one of my high school friends passed away.  I spoke to him via text message was on Thanksgiving.  I know he was in the hospital but I thought I had some more time to reach out to him but I was wrong.  Only God knows when our time on earth is truly over so while we have an opportunity we should take it to make sure we share Christ to everyone we know.  

Today I’m just going to go through the Bible and share some scriptures on how short life really is.  I’m hoping it would encourage you to take every opportunity to share Jesus to others.
