If you've been a Christian for any period of time, you would’ve gone through a challenging time where there was a need for healing, or if you were short money to pay your rent or mortgage, or your car broke down and left you stranded on the road.  Sometimes the enemy come in and causes trouble in our lives but the devil can’t spend your money, he can’t drive your car and he doesn’t need your health.   Then why do these things happen? Why does God allow us to go through these situations?

We have to look at situations through a different perspective when they happen.  They don’t to break us but to push us closer to God.  In every negative scenario that you can be in there is either a positive or negative reaction that you can have. And it’s your reaction that determines how fast you grow spiritually and also how long you remain in that negative circumstance.

In this episode, I’m going to go over what the devil would want you to do or say vs. what your response should be as a Christian.

God is using this pandemic of COVID 19 to get our attentions.  There is no more important time to get your life right with Jesus than now.  I am currently doing a small group bible study on the book of Revelations and TRUST ME… You don’t want to be left behind on the earth when the tribulation occurs.

The bible says that no man can know the time or the hour of Jesus’ return (Matthew 24) In this episode I’m going to just go over some verses from the bible that show you that the time is coming close for Jesus return.

If you are listening to this episode at the time that I am releasing it (March 2020) the talk of Coronavirus has taken over the talk on the news and social media and just about everywhere else.  We’ve seen the impact that it has had on society so far.  You can look at the stock market, all levels of education, professional sports leagues, events etc. have all suspended their activities or cancelled them out right.  BUT!!! As children of God we don’t need to be fearful of this pandemic. As far back as I can think, there has always been a fight for land.  If you look through the bible, there have been fights for land and promises that God gave to give land to people. Even in your own life you have seen people buying and selling homes and allowing that land to stay in their families for decades. I was never really a fighter when I was in elementary school but occasionally I got into a few fist fights with some other kids that tried to bully me around. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a big brother that could come and help defend me. But that’s not the case as Christians. When the devil comes and tries to mess with us, we can fight back against him. We do this in prayer using the Word of God. We see Jesus giving us an example on how to do this when He was tempted by the devil in Matthew 4. God has your back in the fight when you use His word. So let’s learn how to punch the devil back in this episode.

I was thinking about this a while ago and decided to make an episode relating to it.  As Christians we are found in Christ and we don’t have to pay for the sins that we have committed because Christ paid it all.  But then the question becomes, since Jesus paid for our sins once and for all, then what’s the incentive not to keep sinning and asking for forgiveness afterwards??  The answer is so this question is so that we can enjoy uninterrupted fellowship with God and not get distracted from what He has called us to do.  This episode is on how not to be a slave to sin.

There is so much power that is released when you worship.  There are many situations in the bible that show this power and for whatever you face, you can worship your way out of it.   If you are going through a tough time, just worship and see God make a way.  If you don’t know what decision to make, worship will allow God to make your path clear for you.  Whatever the problem is, worship is the beginning of the solution.
