When I did the math on one of my rentals, when I put in 40 hours on that property and I made $50,000 from that deal (not all deals are this profitable) BUT damn, that hourly rate is worth it. When it came to thinking about how much sucking up I had to do at work and never will get a payout like this at my corporate job, I could just be an investor and answer to no one. Done.
