I AM BACK for season 2!!! Thought i would do a mini episode to briefly chat about the happs over the last 3 months and get the ball rolling on this again!

What does trash tv, motherhood and the motherland have in common? Apparently a lot! In this episode, PhD Candidate, writer and pop culture scholar Nancy Johnson-Hunt joins me while we unpack what it means to grow up a South Asian daughter, finding meaning in complexity and understanding our own relationships with our mothers.

HALDI DOODH RECIPIE

• ​Turmeric powder
• ​Fresh grated ginger
• ​Cinnamon
• ​Star anise and/or clove spice if you are feeling EXTRA

1. ​Bring all these ingredients to boil in some water at high heat.
2. ​Once its nice and hot add some milk, continue to heat gently at a lower temp.
3. ​Remove off heat once its nice and golden.

Its best enjoyed when you know you are about to get SICK.
