Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are back with one more classic mystery to round out our Summer Reruns series. This week, they meet banker Alexander Holder, who has made a large loan to a member of one of Britain's noblest families, in exchange for a beryl coronet as collateral. There's just one problem: last night, Holder's son Arthur was caught red-handed with the coronet, which was missing three of its precious beryls. Arthur seems to be the obvious culprit, but Holmes knows there's more here than meets the eye.
