The Summer Swab Sensation is for military families whose child has been diagnosed with developmental delay or autism spectrum disorders. It features an educational presentation on the role and benefits of genetic testing and an opportunity for testing with the CMA test (a simple cheek swab) and meeting with genetic counselors from Lineagen. CARD, Autism Research Group and ACT Today! will be on hand to familiarize families with their services as well as offer fun activities for children. The event will be held at the San Diego Marriott Hotel Del Mar from 9 to 4 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2015.
