Our friend and pastor in the Missionary Church shares a message from the story of David & Goliath. When David convinced King Saul to allow him to fight Goliath, David shared two stories of how God delivered him from a bear and a lion. God has a way of showing up in times of great need. And while these stories are not always easy, God uses them as testimonies of His victory in our lives.

This series explores six values that need to be ground into the very fiber of our being. These values demand our attention from the pages of scripture, and by the power of the spirit they nestle themselves into our core, crowding out our selfish and worldly desires, leading us to become more like our lord and savior Jesus Christ. These are the values that shape and define us, that we desire to permeate the culture of our church, becoming people...who experience ownership of the gospel, who receive and extend God's grace, who build authentic community through groups, who grow in their faith and intimacy with God, who use their gifts and generosity to advance God's Kingdom. These values are not simply an extended to-do list.  They are gifts, for we serve a gracious God who supplies what he demands.
