Summit Church Sermon Podcast

In week 3 of the 'Upside Down' series, Jesus challenges His disciples--and the rest of the religious leaders of His day--that they cannot earn their salvation a list of do's and don'ts. 'Unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees' (and it doesn't) we must rely on the righteousness that can only be given to us through Jesus Christ.

In week 2 of the 'Upside Down' series, Jesus tells his followers they are to be salt and light in the world.

Some of Jesus' most famous teachings are recorded in Matthew's account of the gospel. Jesus spoke of the 'Kingdom of Heaven' in a way that flipped the current religious teachings upside down.

Today, we still marvel at these amazing words of Jesus that challenge our thinking and call us to live our own lives in a way that the world would call, 'Upside Down.'

This week, Pastor Dan takes us on our third and final week of the "Wisdom for Families" series.

In this passage from James chapter 3, Paul talks about proving our wisdom by how we live our lives.

The book of Proverbs is full of wisdom for nearly any person or circumstance. For the next few weeks, Pastor Dan looks at the wisdom of Proverbs from the perspective of the family.

This Mother's Day, Pastor Fred Prince shares a message about the rescue that God offers to all of us, and the steps we must take to experience this rescue for ourselves.

This week, Tom Harmon shares a message about Justification through a unique story in the Bible. We are made right with God not by anything we do, but through faith in Jesus Christ and Him only!

Identity in Chris is a 6-part class taught by Tom Harmon. During this study, Tom shared 6 pillars of who we are in Christ. If we are follower of Jesus, this is our identity...but often we have to re-teach our old self to come in line with who we are.

This week, we continue our series called "Beyond Belief." After a few weeks at looking of some of the desperate situations we find ourselves in, we pause to recognize that, in any situation, because of what Christ has done fore us, we are still truly blessed.
