Summit Church Sermon Podcast

As Grow 2023 continues, on Tuesday evening we heard a message from Dr. Dennis Engbrecht on the topic of personal revival. Before revival can grow into a movement, it must first begin in our own hearts as we surrender ourselves to God. This service ended with a time of worship and prayer for those surrendering themselves to God.

On Monday evening we heard from Gerald Steele about what God calls us to in times of crisis. This service ended with a call to prayer and a powerful time of praying over the needs of many people who came forward.

Sunday morning, Pastor Jim Keller shared a message from Luke 11, where Jesus taught His disciples to pray. At culmination of that lesson on prayer, Jesus assures His disciples that God the Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

Sunday evening, we had a powerful time of worship together. We heard from Gerald Steele and Dennis Engbrecht, and we also heard testimonies about what God is doing in the lives of people in our church.

This week we continue a series seeking and making room for the Holy Spirit. For these several weeks we are looking for God to work in our daily lives and shape us into the image of Jesus Christ.

Last week, Pastor Chuck introduced us to the nature, the expression, and the purpose of God's love for us. This week we will focus on the expression of God's love, lived out or us through the person of Jesus Christ.
