Try to wait until the end of October to receive you flu shot, as flu season typically starts in November. You want the vaccine to last you through the season. The flu vaccine is not a live virus, but the flu mist that will be out this year is live so that can potentially give you a mild case of influenza.

Summit Healthcare Cancer Center Donation - This year's Sue's Crew Walk donated $8500 to the Cancer Center. There is a new bench, In Honor of Sue's Crew, at the Center.

The 8th Annual Sue's Crew Walk will be May 18th, 2019.

They are working on a Summit Cares App on your Android or iPhone or you will be able to visit summitcares.net. Once registered, patients will be able to see a physician from home via video. Public visit fee $49.00, less than going into the doctor's office. This is the future of healthcare
