In the book of Exodus we read how Pharaoh repeatedly hardened his heart and then eventually it's God who hardens Pharaoh's heart. Each time we hear the truth and ignore that still small voice within us, we too allow our hearts to become more and more hardened from receiving that very truth. As we continue through Mark in today's message we'll look at the example of Herod, who enjoyed hearing the truth, but didn't allow that truth to take hold of his life. Perhaps you might know someone who you feel is ready to be set free and receive the truth that John the baptist shared so boldly. Today is the day of salvation!
