God has given us all that we need to live a life pleasing to Him. We have His Word...His loving and gentle instructions. We also have His Spirit that leads and guides us. Understand that there's nothing within us that's CAPABLE of allowing us to walk in His ways. WE simply canNOT please God in our own strength. It's ALL possible through His Son, our Messiah, Jesus. By His grace we're enabled to walk in obedience. And by His Spirit...with confirmation in His Word...we're lead down the straight and narrow path.

Are you aware that there's a battle taking place RIGHT NOW for YOUR soul? It's true! Regardless of whether or not we can SEE the war taking place...it still doesn't change the fact that it's waging. Understand that there's a spiritual realm and there are powers and principalities and rulers of darkness AT WAR. And so we must be on guard. We must pray for the grace to discern what is of God and what is not. We need to know His Word. We need to keep our eyes focused on HIM...so we won't be deceived.

It's a fact that we serve a God who gives second chances. And that's because He LOVES us and WANTS us to succeed! He's not a hateful God who will strike us dead the MOMENT we made a mistake. Just because we fail...it doesn't mean that He's through with us. As long as we have a genuine and humble heart that WANTS to confess and repent...He's there. He's ready to cleanse you and RESTORE you. He wants you to walk with Him daily. It's His desire that NONE would perish. So don't become discouraged when you fail. Cry out to God!

How big is God to YOU? Is He big enough to handle your problems? Is He big enough to provide for your needs? Of course these questions may seem silly. Especially considering the fact that our God IS big enough! But some people act as if He's NOT. They struggle with unbelief, doubt and fear. They lack trust. When it comes down to the nitty-gritty...they don't believe that God is in control. But as believers, we must understand that there's NOTHING too big for our God. He is mighty and there's NOTHING He cannot do.

In today's message, we learned the importance of family. Pastor Terry will remind us that we're put into our family...for a reason. Just as in any other situation, we're there with a purpose. We're there to make an impact. We'll learn that it's in the home where people become who they are. How you bring up your children...makes a difference. Sure, ultimately it's up to THEM to decide whether or not they will follow after God. But until that time, we need to be sharing the truth in love...with our families.

As parents, it's good that we take our children to church. It's GOOD that we include them in activities with believers. But don't think that just because they are participating, they're saved. You see, they MUST be born-again. We ALL need to be! We can't ride on the coattails of our parents or grandparents. We can't rely on the fact that we're good people who attend church. The Bible says that there's NO one good...not even one! We ALL must come to the realization that we are sinners in NEED of a Savior. It's an individual choice we ALL have to make.

Christian, are you aware that God still speaks to His people? It's true! He desires to speak to YOU! So...in what WAYS does He speak? Well, sometimes He DOES speak in an audible voice, but that's not the ONLY way God talks to us. He speaks to us through His Word. He speaks to us through His Spirit. And in today's message, we'll learn that SOMETIMES God uses other brothers and sisters to speak to us. They can be used to bring a word of exhortation, encouragement, and accountability.

In today's message, we'll get to witness what happens when people dabble in paganism and idolatry. When they refuse to put OFF those things that are not of God. You see, the Scriptures clearly tell us that the children of God are NOT to take part in these evil practices. We're not to be a part of wickedness...even if it seems innocent or playful. But what about YOU, believer? Are there practices or objects in YOUR life that are rooted in paganism or idolatry? Are there things that YOU need to give up? That's something we must ALL consider.

When you encounter times of trial and difficulty...remember what God has done for you. Remember what He has ALREADY delivered you from. Just think back to your days before salvation. Consider the state that your heart was in. You were LOST in sin...destined for HELL. But God wanted to give you HOPE. That's why He sent His Son. Never forget the ways in which He has expressed His love to you. Let these things serve as a reminder of His faithfulness TOWARDS you. Understand that God will NEVER let you down.

As believers, we're called to go forth and share the gospel...the good news...with others. You see, there are a lot of people in this world who are lost and dying. They need hope. They need a Savior. And we have the answer! We know that by grace through faith...they can be SAVED! So why hold that in? As servants of the Most High God, we should be actively sowing seeds. We need to be sharing the truth of God's Word! We need to be living our lives as examples. In all we say and do, we need to give glory to God. All in an effort to draw people to Him.
