As believers, we're called to go forth and share the gospel...the good news...with others. You see, there are a lot of people in this world who are lost and dying. They need hope. They need a Savior. And we have the answer! We know that by grace through faith...they can be SAVED! So why hold that in? As servants of the Most High God, we should be actively sowing seeds. We need to be sharing the truth of God's Word! We need to be living our lives as examples. In all we say and do, we need to give glory to God. All in an effort to draw people to Him.

Time goes by so fast. People are born one minute...and gone the next. We only have a limited amount of time on this earth...and NONE of us know when we will breathe our last. So with that being said, we must make our time...count. How are YOU spending your time? Are you investing it in the things of God? In people? In being a servant? Or...are you selfishly wasting your time? Squandering it away on the things of this world? Understand that we aren't promised tomorrow. We have to make the MOST of today.

Pastor Terry will exhort us to make a decision TODAY. That God will be number one in our lives. That we'll submit to Him and His Word. That we'll commit to walking in His ways. That we will ALLOW Him to work in and through us. We're told in the Scriptures to choose THIS DAY whom you will serve. So what's it going to be? Will you continue to serve SELF...which essentially means that you're serving SATAN. OR...will you choose to serve the God of the Bible. One can only bring death...while the other...promises LIFE.

In the book of Ecclesiastes, we learn that it's much better to be wise...than a fool. And the wisdom spoken of here isn't pertaining to WORLDLY wisdom. It's in reference to GODLY wisdom. And we attain THAT, by submitting to Him. By studying His Word. By allowing His grace to work in and through us. You see, we NEED His wisdom in this life. The Scriptures are clear...we're not to lean on our OWN understanding. We're to trust in the Lord and allow HIM to direct our path. You see, HIS understanding is perfect.

The Scriptures teach us that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Understand that it's not MONEY that's evil...it's our LOVE of...that causes problems. As believers, we must realize that it's GOD who gives and takes away. He is our provider. We must learn to trust that He will see to it that we have what we need. We don't need to strive for financial gain. Sure, we're called to work. But we don't have to attain mountains of riches. Submit to God...obey His voice...and allow HIM to supply our needs.

The Bible is full of wonderful principles for life. And when you apply them to your heart...they will bring blessings. Well in today's message, we'll learn a few of those principles. One of them is that we're not to accept bribes...regardless of what WE think the outcome will be. Understand that God truly knows what's best for us. His Word is given to us for our GOOD. And when we submit to it...when we say YES to walking according TO it...then we will be better off! Is it your desire to abide by His principles? Do you want to walk in the truth?

As humans, we all experience times of trial and difficulty. And sometimes, we want to give up. We want to give in. But as believers, we have a place that we can go in these times. We can GO...to the feet of Jesus. He is there for us in our time of need. We don't have to look to our right or our left. We don't have to fix things in our own strength. All we need to do...is look to HIM. Seek His face. Cry out for help. Understand that He WANTS to be there for us. But He won't force His way into our lives. We have to allow Him in.

In this life, we will all be held accountable for our actions. We will be held accountable for what we know. No one is exempt from this. So understand that what we DO...matters. You see, if you're a true born-again believer, then your actions should confirm that. The things that you do, the words that you speak...they should all reflect the work that God is doing in your life. However, if your fruit is BAD...if your words and actions aren't reflecting the character and nature of our Messiah, then you might want to spend some time seeking God...to find out why.

As believers, we understand that we're living in earthly tents. One day, our bodies will pass away. And while that's not always the most PLEASANT thought...we can still have hope. Hope in knowing that this is not the end. On this earth, we're simply passing through. We're here to do the work of our Creator...until our time is done. Pastor Terry will remind us that we have the hope of Heaven. We can KNOW that no matter what happens to us...that we can look forward to spending eternity with our loving Heavenly Father.
