Why isn't humanity experiencing the blessings that God intended for us? Why is there so much suffering in this world? The answer to this question is quite simple...sin. Sin bring death and suffering. And as time is passing, mankind is becoming more and more committed to sin and thus the consequence of sin is being experienced.

The potential of mankind is now greatly limited due to sin. And yet, God has promised us that He will restore a great deal of this if we'll simply confess our sins and place our faith in Jesus. He is able to make all things new. But, it must start with the act of humbling yourself and crying out to the LORD.

Jesus, our Savior, is complete. He is the complete image of God the Father to us. When we consider Jesus, we know exactly what our Father in Heaven is like. Jesus is perfect and He completed the Word of God. Does that mean that He did away with God's Word or abolished it? No! Jesus is the Word!

Our mortality has a special way of speaking to us. Just thinking about our lives ending causes all kinds of emotions to come to the surface. But, as we just heard from Pastor Terry and we'll learn from the text today...as believer's in Jesus Christ, we don't have to fear death. In fact, we can accept it and live life to the fullest until that day.

This hectic daily routine that we call life can often times distract us from our true purpose here on earth. It's not to obtain the latest toy, advance your career, or sculpt the perfect physique...our purpose here on earth is to lovingly serve those around us as a way to show them that God loves them in a real and meaningful way.

We know that Jesus is greater than the angels. But, could you explain that to someone? Could you show them in the Word of God WHY Jesus is greater than the angels? Well, after today's study with Pastor Terry you will be equipped to do just that.
