What you just heard a moment ago from Pastor Terry is just one example of the hundreds of prophecies in the Word of God that have already been fulfilled. Prophecies that have been fulfilled according to the Scriptures are one of the best ways to increase our faith. God has proven Himself time and again and He will continue to as future prophecies are fulfilled.

There's coming a time in the seemingly not too distant future where the nation of Israel will look upon the One who they have pierced and place their faith in Him. They will declare that Jesus is Messiah. There will be one family of believer's before God. Both Jews and Gentiles will worship Jesus as the King of Kings and the LORD of LORDS!

The Christian life is not meant to be stagnant. In fact, as servants of God, we should be laboring for the furtherance of God's will in the here and now. It's easy to become complacent and lazy as Christians. Pastor Terry will exhort us today to get up off the religious couch and get working for the LORD!

Remember back when you were first saved...how God seemed to move in every situation? Now, fast forward to the present...is that how your walk with Him is now? If not, you may have slipped into a religious rut. God wants us to be present in the here and now, ready and willing to serve Him in any way He asks of us.

Did you hear that Christian? Pastor Terry's exhortation from the Scriptures today is to GET TO WORK! Get out there and begin doing the things that you know God has called you to do. Reject the voice of the lying enemy who says it's all up to you. God will never ask you to do something that He doesn't plan on providing all that you need to do it.

Despite what you might have heard on the tv or here on the radio, once you accept Jesus as your Savior, the difficulties don't just disappear. God never promised us that our lives here on earth would be a bed of roses. But, He did promise us to never leave us or forsake us.

The righteous standard of God's Word doesn't need much explaining. We can simply open the Bible and learn what God has said is sin. We're left with a difficult problem to solve...? What do we do when we break one of God's commandments? Who can we turn to? Thankfully, we can turn to the LORD Jesus Christ!

God's Law is a fixed standard that cannot be changed or altered in anyway. What God has called sin...is sin. And just as we heard from Pastor Terry a moment ago, when we attempt to create our own standard for righteousness, all manner of unrighteousness is actually the result.

In the last couple of broadcasts Pastor Terry has been sharing with us the importance of understanding how we are made righteous. And we've learned that it's through no works of our own. So, what is the place of works in the life of a Christian? Works are a natural response of a saved person...works can never save...the saved person simply walks in the works that God has prepared for them.

The book of Zephaniah is often overlooked in the Scriptures. Today Pastor Terry begins by sharing with us some of the very significant events that are foretold in the this important book. Remember, all Scripture is profitable for us as Christians. We need to be able to open the Word of God and grow from anything that we read.
