If you exist in a state of hate towards those around you, you cannot be saved and cannot enter heaven! WOW! That sounds like a pretty harsh statement doesn't it? But, it's true. Today we'll learn that God's Word defines those who are saved as those who love and do not hate their brothers and sisters.

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life are the three temptations that were presented to Eve in the garden. And they were obviously enough...they brought about the fall of mankind. And the enemy of our souls hasn't changed his game plan. He still uses these same tactics to entice believer's to stray from God's plan.

Who is Jesus? This is a question that must be answered. As we just heard from Pastor Terry...anyone speaking about Jesus in any other way than what the Scriptures depict are speaking in the same manner as the antichrist will speak. Jesus is the Son of God and He is the only way to heaven...PERIOD!

God certainly uses teachers of the Word of God to further His kingdom. But, how do we know which ones to listen to? Today we learn that God didn't leave us to figure this out on our own. He gave us His Holy Spirit that gives us discernment to know the difference. The Holy Spirit will show you through God's Word what is right and wrong.

There's a singular event in history that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that God loves the world...the death of His Son, Jesus Christ. Imagine allowing your own son to be killed in the place of someone who hated you and your son? It's unthinkable!!! And yet, that's exactly what God did for you and for me.

There's a doctrine out there that says that if you happen to commit a sin at the moment of your death, well...your eternity is secure...secure in hell that is! Is that true? Is that what the Bible teaches? No! The pattern of our lives needs to be one that is proven by progressive obedience to God's Word, not perfection.

One of the amazing benefits of being a recipient of the new covenant is the fact that God's Law is written on your heart! An external set of rules could never guide and direct your life. You need God's Word inside of you and you need His Holy Spirit to empower you to live victoriously obedient!
