Unfortunately, Pastor Terry is completely right. Many of today's modern churches haven't been established upon the principles of the Word of God. Instead, they were created under the corporate model with a particular product that they want to market and sell. Many churches have become mere social clubs that are the opiate of the masses.

Sadly, just like the young Levitical priest in today's message, there are pulpits across America filled with so called ministers of the Gospel that are only in it for the money...pastoring, teaching the Word of God is only a career to them and not a calling. BEWARE, for God's Word says a stricter judgment is reserved for those in leadership.

The sin of homosexuality is rampant in our culture today and readily accepted. Does God hate the homosexual? No! And those who represent God in this way are in sin themselves. God loves the person who is caught in this sin. We need to be careful to stand up for the truth that God can and will set the homosexual free.

Purity within the Body of Christ is a must! Jesus gave us clear direction in the Gospel of Matthew as to how to deal within the fellowship. We need to be careful to not see ourselves as more loving than God. Applying God's Word in every situation IS the most loving thing that we can do...especially for the one caught in sin.

There's an easy way to learn a lesson and then there's the hard way. Why is it that we can't seem to learn the easy way? We see the result if bad decisions in other people's lives and the consequences that they bring and yet we go head long into the choices! Heed the exhortation from the LORD, learn from Him the easy way.

The Bible says that our tongues are swords. We can cause a great deal of damage and pain just by the words we choose to use. That's why we need to walk in the truth of the Word that says, be quick to listen and slow to speak.

God created man an woman to be together...to complete one another. As Pastor Terry said, the husband and wife are supposed to be a team. So, husbands we need to be quick to listen to our wives if they've heard something from the LORD. And wives, don't hold back...if the LORD has revealed something to you, share it with your husbands.

It's easy to get the wrong idea that Samson's power came from his long hair. But, as we just heard from Pastor Terry, Samson's strength had nothing to do with his long hair...it was the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit flowing through Samson. And even though Samson experienced this power, he fell far short of his potential with God.

Men, takes the words of exhortation from Pastor Terry to heart. The scantily dressed woman at the office is deadly to you! If you make the decision to pursue a sexually immoral woman, you will be utterly destroyed! Be faithful to the wife that God has blessed you with and flee with all that is within you from the immoral woman.

Sometimes in our zeal and fervor for the LORD we make wrong decisions. As we just heard from Pastor Terry, it's natural for believer's to want to be led by godly people. But, sometimes in our pursuit of that godly leader, we instead accept what Pastor Terry calls a bramble...someone not intended to lead.
