Our hearts long for the day when Jesus will return and judge the wickedness of this fallen kingdom...when He will establish His Holy Kingdom of righteousness! As the days seem to be becoming more evil than ever, this desire grows.

When a bank teller is trained to spot counterfeit money, they aren't given fake money to examine...they're given real bills. Why? Because a fake, a lie is MUCH easier to see when the truth is understood. The same it true in our lives. Don't spend your time considering the ways of the enemy...just follow after God and you won't be deceived.

Did you hear that a moment ago from Pastor Terry? Leadership reflects the people. This should cause us to shutter when we think about the wickedness of this nation. What kind of leader will God allow because the sinfulness and wickedness that prevails here in America...only time will tell.

Parents, have you ever notices the relief on your child's face after they've been disciplined? It's almost like they're happy to be brought back into a place of blessing and safety. As parents we have a high calling to live out the very truths that we are attempting to teach our children...not just words, but truth in action.

A nagging question keeps popping up in today's study...have you been broken? Now, you might say, 'oh yes, I went forward at a Bible teaching church and got saved when I was 5.' But, were you broken before the LORD? If you weren't, that breaking before Him must still take place. When we're broken He can use us.

One of the natural tendencies that we have a fallen creatures is to desire the credit when we do something good. But, how can we demand credit when the source of all good isn't part of our flesh? Anything good that comes from our lives flows from the grace and mercy provided by the Father...so He should receive all the glory and honor.

In today's culture there's obviously a fascination with judges. Just turn on the television and you'll see program after program featuring a judge presiding over cases before a national audience. In the history of the nation of Israel, there's even a time where judges were featured...in the book of Judges!
