So many people pick this weekend to be one of the two times that they attend church...it's seems to be some sort of religious obligation...everyone should go to church on Easter and Christmas. But, is that really what the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is about? Dutiful church attendance? NO! It's so much more!

You might be listening today and find yourself in a position of doubt...you doubt the LORD, you doubt the Word of God. As we just heard Pastor Terry, you're not alone...there have been many people that have doubted. But, God can change your heart, if you'll approach Him by faith.

All the sins that have ever been committed were placed upon Jesus on that fateful day when He was crucified. Just stop and think about all the terrible things that you've done and now consider that everyone else has done the same, some quite a bit worse...and ALL that...ALL sin was placed upon Jesus.

After today's broadcast there will be no more excuses...nothing else that you can say about your relationship with Jesus. You'll have to consider it, you'll have to come to a decisive conclusion about your eternity. And that's the beauty of the Gospel...God doesn't force Himself on anyone...He gives each and everyone a choice.

If Jesus is investing so much into the New Jerusalem that is to come...just stop and think about what He's willing to invest in you. In fact, He invested His life into each of us. He came to this earth as a man and lives a perfect, sinless life just so that we could experience this New Jerusalem with Him.

In the New Jerusalem there will be no more pain, no more suffering, no more toiling over the things of this world...all will be make completely perfect by our Savior, Jesus. The list that we just heard a moment ago from Pastor Terry is startling...no more hospitals, bread lines...nothing like we experience here on earth.

There are so many different things that this world and this existence has to offer that have the illusion of satisfaction. Oh, if I only had that, if I was only married to them, if I only made this much more...but, don't be deceived, there is nothing in this existence that can bring true satisfaction. We will only experience true satisfaction in the eternity to come.

As we just heard a moment ago from Pastor Terry, there are countless religions like Islam that practice various forms of works based salvation. Christianity stands alone as THE religion that requires nothing BUT faith in order to enter into heaven. Simply believing in Jesus is enough for everlasting life.

Death has a powerful of communicating the reality of eternity. Just stop and think about the last time you were at a funeral...as we just heard from Pastor Terry, it's fairly obvious who the believer's are. Without Jesus, death is a very final and hopeless event. But for those of us who are born again, death is merely our transition into eternity.

Did you just hear that? If you're an unbeliever and you enter into eternity without the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ, there will be nothing that you'll be able to do to avoid the judgment that is coming. You will stand before God in heaven and He will judge you based upon the life you lived.
