What if aging isn’t something to resist… but something to redeem?
Our culture tells us to fight it.
Hide the gray.
Chase youth.
Stay relevant.
And quietly, many people begin to fear what comes next, as if getting older means becoming less useful… less valuable… less needed.
But Scripture tells a very different story.
“Rise in the presence of the aged… show respect for the elderly.” — Leviticus 19:32Aging isn’t a problem to solve. It’s a process to steward.
And when seen through the right lens, it’s not a decline...it’s a calling.
In this special episode, guest speaker Hiram Kemp walks us through what it truly means to age well as a Christian...not by holding on to the past, but by walking faithfully into every new season God gives.
In This Episode, We'll Discuss:
✅ Why aging should be embraced—not feared or hidden
✅ How to leave youthful mistakes behind and grow in maturity
✅ The biblical call to mentor and invest in the next generation
✅ What it means to embrace your age without apology
✅ Why you must refuse to retire from righteousness
✅ How to live with a forward-looking hope anchored in eternity
Aging is not about losing purpose.
It’s about refining it.
Every stage of life carries responsibility, opportunity, and meaning, and God intends for you to walk through each one faithfully, purposefully, and without apology.
Whether you’re in your 20s or your 80s, this message meets you where you are.
Because if God gives you more years, He also gives you more purpose.
And the goal isn’t just to grow older, it’s to grow well.

What if your struggle with worth… isn’t because you lack value, but because you’ve been measuring it the wrong way?
Look at the stars.
The moon.
The vastness of the heavens.
David did, and it overwhelmed him.
“When I look at Your heavens… what is man that You are mindful of him?” — Psalm 8:3–4
Compared to the universe, we feel small.
Insignificant.
Easy to overlook.
And if we’re honest, many of us live like that’s true.
We measure our worth by what we produce.
What we achieve.
How others respond to us.
But Scripture tells a different story.
The same God who formed the galaxies with His fingers looks at frail, dust-made humanity… and does something unexpected.
Not ignored.
Not disposable.
Crowned.
In This Episode, We'll Discuss:
✅ Why feeling “small” in a big world can distort your sense of worth
✅ How we’ve been conditioned to measure value by performance and usefulness
✅ What David’s question reveals about human frailty
✅ The shocking way God responds to our smallness
✅ What it means to be crowned with glory and honor
Your worth is not something you earn.
It’s something God has already declared.
You are not defined by your size in the universe, but by the God who chose to crown you within it.

What if the reason you struggle to see your worth… is because you’ve been looking in the wrong mirror?
Most of us have been answering one question our entire lives:
Who am I?
But the answers we’ve been living by didn’t come from God.
They came from culture.
From people.
From pain.
And slowly, without realizing it, we start building our lives on a distorted reflection.
Like looking into a warped mirror… and believing it’s true.
But Psalm 8 invites us to lift our eyes higher.
David looks at the vastness of the heavens, the moon, the stars, the work of God’s fingers, and asks:
“What is man that You are mindful of him?” — Psalm 8:4Frail.
Finite.
Dust-made.
And yet… not forgotten.
Not overlooked.
This is where everything begins to shift.
Because your identity doesn’t start with you. It starts with God.
And when you see Him clearly, you begin to see yourself correctly.
In This Episode, We'll Discuss:
✅ Why most of us are living from a distorted view of ourselves
✅ How culture, pain, and past voices shape false identity
✅ What it truly means to be made in the image of God
✅ Why David starts with God before asking about man
✅ How a wrong view of God leads to a wrong view of yourself
You are not who they said you are.
You are not who your past says you are.
You are who God says you are.
And until you go back to the One who made you, you will keep living from a reflection that was never true.

What if the reason life feels overwhelming… isn’t your circumstances, but the lens you’re using to see them?
When life is viewed only “under the sun,” everything can start to feel meaningless.
Work.
Achievement.
Pleasure.
Success.
Solomon examined all of it and delivered a sobering diagnosis: “Vanity of vanities… all is vanity.” — Ecclesiastes 1:2
If life is interpreted through the wrong lens—one that leaves God out of the picture—everything eventually feels like vapor.
Temporary. Elusive. Impossible to hold onto.
But the Bible also shows us something deeper.
The problem isn’t just the pain we experience.
Sometimes it’s the lens through which we interpret it.
A wrong lens leads to a wrong life.
But when we see life through God’s purposes, even suffering can be transformed.
In This Episode, We'll Discuss:
✅ Why life feels overwhelming when it’s viewed only “under the sun”
✅ How Solomon exposes the emptiness of a God-less worldview
✅ What Job’s suffering reveals about the human search for meaning
✅ Why Jesus reframes suffering from blame to purpose
✅ How changing your lens can change the way you experience life
The crisis of meaning is real.
But the answer isn’t found in trying harder, achieving more, or escaping suffering.
It’s found in seeing life through the right lens—the lens of God’s purpose revealed in Christ.
Because the lens you use to see the world will shape the life you live in it.

What if the reason life feels overwhelming… is because we’re searching for meaning in a world that can’t give it?
Wake up.
Work.
Fight traffic.
Come home exhausted.
Repeat.
Life can slowly become a cycle that feels more tiring than meaningful.
In Ecclesiastes 1:2, Solomon looked at life from a purely earthly perspective and came to a sobering conclusion: “Vanity of vanities… all is vanity.”
Life can feel like vapor...real, but impossible to hold onto.
You work, build, and strive, yet everything seems to slip through your fingers.
And when suffering enters the picture, the questions grow deeper.
Job lost his wealth, his health, and his children and cried out in despair, asking why he had even been born.
But when Jesus encountered a man born blind, He reframed the question entirely.
Instead of asking “Who sinned?” He said: “That the works of God might be displayed in him.” — John 9:3
What looks meaningless to us may actually be the place where God’s purpose is revealed.
In This Episode:
✅ Why life feels empty when it’s lived only “under the sun.”
✅ What Solomon’s search reveals about success and achievement
✅ How suffering intensifies our search for meaning
✅ Why Jesus reframes suffering from blame to purpose
✅ How God can work through even the hardest seasons
You were never meant to live a life confined to “under the sun.”
You were made by God and for God.
And the meaning your soul longs for isn’t found in the cycle of life—it’s found in the Christ who breaks the cycle.

What if the pressure you’re feeling right now isn’t a sign you’re failing…
But a sign you’re fighting the wrong source?
Jesus made a promise most of us wish He hadn’t: “In this world you will have tribulation.”
Not maybe.
Not sometimes.
Will.
Life is a gift.
But it is also heavy.
The deadlines.
The expectations.
The silent anxiety.
The smile you wear while your mind won’t slow down.
And when the pressure rises, we reach for relief.
But what if the relief we reach for is leaking?
In this episode of Sunday Renewal, we confront what it really means to be overwhelmed, and why most of us are drinking from broken cisterns instead of the fountain of living water.
In this episode, we’ll explore:
✅ Why life can be both a gift and a battleground
✅ What Jesus meant when He promised peace in the middle of pressure
✅ How we quietly bypass Scripture while claiming to believe it
✅ Jeremiah’s warning about forsaking the fountain
✅ Why substitutes never satisfy
✅ And more…
This episode is not about pretending pressure disappears.
It’s about discovering where stability actually comes from.
Because you can numb pressure.
You can distract yourself from pressure.
You can manage pressure.
But only God can anchor you in it.

What if the one thing you have been searching for is not another option but the one treasure worth everything?
In Matthew 13:45–46, Jesus tells a short but piercing parable:
A merchant searching for fine pearls finds one pearl of great price.
And when he recognizes its value, he sells everything he has to make it his own.
No hesitation.
No bargaining.
No delay.
Because once you truly see its worth, the decision is clear.
In this episode of Sunday Renewal, we explore what Jesus meant when He compared the kingdom of heaven to that pearl, and why the church He built is not one option among many, but the treasure above all treasures.
In this episode, we'll explore:
✅ Why the kingdom of heaven and the church Jesus built are inseparable
✅ What it means that Jesus is the sole King over one kingdom
✅ The difference between man-made religion and the church purchased by Christ’s blood
✅ What the final judgment reveals about obedience and accountability
✅ Why finding the kingdom requires surrender
✅ And more...
This episode is both an invitation and a challenge.
An invitation to examine what you truly treasure.
A challenge to pursue truth with your whole heart.
And a reminder that the gospel is not something we keep under lock and key.
When you understand its value, you share it.

You can win in public and lose in private.
You can build something impressive and still be empty.
You can climb the ladder and realize it was leaning against the wrong wall.
So let me ask you a serious question: What if success is not what you accumulate… but who you become?
The world measures success in money, status, influence, titles, and applause.
But Scripture measures it differently.
In this episode of Sunday Renewal, we open God’s Word and ask a deeper question:
What does it actually mean to be successful God’s way?
Because it is possible to preach and still be lost.
Possible to attend church and still be drifting.
Possible to look faithful and still miss the heart of Christ.
So what is real success?
In this episode, we'll explore:
✅ Why wealth, power, and position are not reliable measures of success
✅ What the rich young ruler reveals about misplaced confidence
✅ Why intimacy with Christ must come before imitation of Christ
✅ How prayer anchors a life that does not sink in the storm
✅ What Peter walking on water teaches us about focus and faith
✅ Why success is guaranteed when Christ is the focal point
If success is acting like Jesus without thinking about it, then Jesus is not just a priority.
He is the priority.
That means learning to think like Him.
Respond like Him.
Forgive like Him.
Trust like Him.
It means keeping your eyes fixed on Him in the storms of life.
🎧 Listen now and discover what success looks like when Jesus defines it.
God bless you.

There are moments when you are not just tired.
You are ready to quit.
Not in a dramatic way.
Just quietly.
Internally.
You are still showing up, but something inside you is slipping.
Still believing, but barely.
Still holding on, but wondering if it is worth the effort anymore.
If that is where you are right now, this episode is for you.
In Psalm 63, David is still in the wilderness.
Still thirsty.
Still surrounded by danger.
Still unable to feel the presence of God.
And right there, in the middle of exhaustion and silence, David says something that holds him together when everything else is falling apart:
“Your steadfast love is better than life.” Psalm 63:3
This is not church lingo.
It's not a motivational phrase.
It's the truth David puts his full weight on when there is nothing left to lean on.
In this episode of Sunday Renewal, we slow down and stay with that single sentence long enough for it to move from theology into real life.
In This Episode, We'll Explore:
✅ What God’s steadfast love actually is and why it is covenant love, not a feeling
✅ Why God’s love does not depend on your strength, consistency, or performance
✅ What it really means to say God’s love is better than life itself
✅ How the wilderness reveals what you truly value, not what you claim to value
✅ Why praise can rise before circumstances change
David does not praise because the wilderness ends.
He praises because of who God is.
He chooses his supreme value in the middle of the crisis, not after it.
And in doing so, he shows us how faith can survive loss, betrayal, disappointment, and even death itself.
This episode is for the one who feels close to giving up.
For the one who is wondering what is still worth holding onto.
For the one who needs something solid when everything else feels fragile.
Because there is one love that does not burn.
One love that does not fail.
One love that will not let go.

There are seasons when you’re still showing up.
Still praying.
Still opening the Bible.
Still trying to worship.
And yet… heaven feels quiet.
Prayer feels like your words hit the ceiling and fall back down.
Scripture feels like ink on paper.
Worship feels like singing into an empty room.
And the question you don’t want to say out loud keeps following you:
Did God leave me?
If that’s where you are, you’re not alone.
Psalm 63 was written by someone who knew God and then lost the feeling of God.
David is in the wilderness: dry, exhausted, cut off, and afraid.
Not just physically thirsty, but spiritually parched.
And instead of pretending to be strong or forcing emotion, David shows us how faith survives when feelings disappear.
In this episode of Sunday Renewal, we step into the wilderness with David and discover what can hold us when everything familiar is stripped away.
In This Episode:
We explore how sustaining devotion to God is formed, not in comfort, but in silence and loss:
✅ Why not feeling God does not mean you’ve lost your faith
✅ How the wilderness reveals what we truly treasure
✅ Why faith must be anchored in what is true, not what is felt
✅ Why spiritual thirst is not failure, but evidence that faith is still alive
✅ How memory becomes fuel when the present feels dark
David doesn’t begin with answers.
He begins with a claim.
“You are my God.”
Before he states his need, he stakes his relationship.
Before relief comes, he clings to what he knows.
And in doing so, he shows us how faith can survive even when God feels far away.
This episode is for anyone who has ever whispered, “I still believe… but I can’t feel God anymore.”
