Lamentations teaches us to grieve sin and suffering honestly before God, to see His wrath not as failure but as faithfulness, and to cling to His steadfast love revealed in Christ. Though Jerusalem fell, God’s promises did not. In Christ, exile gives way to restoration, lament to praise, and sorrow to the hope of the New Jerusalem.
