The transfiguration of Jesus is one of the most neglected stories in the entire New Testament. Western Christianity needs to regain its vision of Christ on the mountain. While this event is shrouded in mystery, it is also filled with great meaning. In Gazing on the Glory of Jesus, Pastor John Yeatts invites us to look upon the Son of God and embrace the full humanity and divinity of Christ, so that we might be transfigured as his disciples and truly live with hope in the midst of the world’s suffering.

But because of sin and death, our relationship with God and our connection to his creation were broken. Therefore, the Father sent his Son not only to redeem our souls, but also to save the earth. In the first message of our series, Pastor David shares how the coming of Christ has affirmed the goodness of creation and calls us to do the same by the way we live our lives.

The name "Ebenezer" (a stone of help) is what Samuel called a marker of remembrance in the story of Israel. As we all come to the end of a year, and Bruce and Merly Bundy come to the end of an era in ministry, let the words of Samuel echo in your minds as we think about how far God has brought us.

Listen as Bruce and Merly call us to reflect on how “we've made it this far” because of God's faithfulness. They also invite us to consider, "Where is God going to move us next?"
