The enemy wants to distance you from those the people and things that are important to you, as these are blessings for you from God. So how do we defend against these attacks?

Saul goes from the anointed man God choose for the position as king over Israel, to being rejected by God, and it all started by him listening the accuser. We see the work this does so well in Saul's interaction with David. At first David is a great help to him in accomplishing what God called Saul to do, but the accuser got in Saul's ear and planted seeds that destroyed that relationship and even Saul himself.
