Lauren usually goes to Comic Con events with us.... this year we lament on the postponement of summer movies and Comic Con.  So we take this opportunity to geek out a bit and share our Comic Con experiences and our favorite superhero movies.

To avoid putting several people together in one room, we decided to give this Zoom thingy a try.  What do we have to catch up on?  Playing Animal Crossing, sharing what books we read, what job we wished we had. Conversations to have when you're staring at each other through a webcam.

Giovanni and Antonio invite some of their friends from the Hinges Improv comedy group.  They talk about certain memories during their time together.  B-Vitamins don't cause stomach aches, trust falls are good to sneak in a kiss, and knowing the difference between Mission Bay and Mission Beach are some of the things we learn over the years. 

Giovanni and Antonio invite a group of people to watch an 80's cover band perform at one of our favorite bars in San Diego. A bottle of Screwball whiskey and grape Rockstar is passed around . . . and Antonio and Marisol think the song, Zombie by the Cranberries is an 80's song.  We talked to a few people before the performance . . .and then again after.  Alcohol really makes podcasts fun.

The experienced pubcrawler and the newbie.  Giovanni drags Antonio out for his first pubcrawl.  So we all know you have to have at least one drink for every bar that you visit.  How many bars did they visit and was Antonio able to hang?

Isabel and Marisol come back to visit and talk about falling in love with San Diego and the beers it has to offer.  As transplants from Orlando and Omaha, they share how much they love the beer here.  We also force Antonio, a non-beer drinker, to drink an IPA and share his thoughts. 

We were getting ready to go out on New Years Eve.... and decided to jump on the mics to talk about our New Years Resolutions!!  Are we going to make one for 2020?  Do Resolutions do anything for us?  Is this a topic to discuss after 3 cans of Pineapple White Claw?

DJ Bugz couldn't pass up the opportunity.  When he heard we wanted to do a taste test between 3 different hard seltzers/sparkling water (whatever it's called), he came running over to assist.  He has a key, so he just barged in.

We provide our opinions on the hard seltzers, talk about the creative drinks our favorite bartenders made for us, and question why Antonio keeps ordering midori sours every damn time we go out.

Our fun guests Isabel and Marisol share their opinions and experiences of online dating apps.  We hand over our cell phones to have our profiles, pics, headlines and sent messages reviewed and critiqued.  A scary moment for us . . .   

A girl messaging Antonio about how Robin is her favorite Marvel character.  Hating Disneyland is a dealbreaker.  And dating someone who reads your blog.  These are just a few things that we laugh about during this conversation.

Time to delete my dating profile...... 

Veteran DJ of San Diego, DJ BUGZ comes by to chat about his experiences of DJing in downtown San Diego since the mid 90's. YIKES!!  How old is this guy??  From giving out birthday shout outs.... . to dealing with drunk people requesting songs, we learn a little bit of why people like to come out and listen to this DJ.
