Sermon on Revelation 17:1-6; 19:11-16. This is the sixth sermon in our summer sermon series called Horizons of Faith.
The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus will reign over all the world and that evil will be conquered forever. But when we turn on the news or receive a diagnosis for a loved one, we see evil is very much alive. Turning to Revelation, we can see this tension between God's salvation and evil's brokenness playing out on a cosmic stage. Each week, we'll track this tension using the different characters and locations in Revelation.
In this sermon, we explore how love is not a commodity to be bought, sold, or traded, but a gift given by a passionate God.
