This week, Pastor Cody Statema introduces us to a new sermon series, Flannelgraph Faith, which will take us deeper into some of the greatest stories of the Bible. We begin with Noah and the Flood, an epic story where we often remember the major details of the story - Noah building a floating zoo, 40 days and nights of rain, flood over the entire earth, etc. However, we often don't think of the underlying theme of the story - highlighting God's sovereignty over Creation, His wrath against sin, and His overwhelming love for His people by preserving the remnant that paved the way for Jesus Christ.

Real Living happens when God captures our hearts and minds, so much so that He alone becomes ultimate in our everyday lives.

Wrapping up our final week of "T.U.L.I.P. Time," a sermon series on the 5 Doctrines of Grace, Pastor Josh Blunt directs us through Preservation/Perseverance of the Saints. As followers of Jesus, we are all called to the Mission field - making disciples of all Nations. Preservation/Perseverance of the Saints and God's call to mission go together in an amazing way: We can risk it all in the pursuit of Mission, knowing that God will perfectly complete his saving work in both his messengers and the sheep they reach.

We use the term "irresistible" to describe pretty much anything that we have a hard time turning down. Cookies, puppies, a great deal, and influential people have power over us and can only be resisted by force of will. Actually, these desires only pit one's own will against itself; we have to use one part of the human will to restrain the desires of it's other parts. However, this sermon is NOT about that kind of struggle. Instead, we look at Scripture and consider what must happen when all parts of one's will are enslaved to sin and dead in trespasses.

There term "Limited Atonement" troubles many Believers' ears. We are reluctant to use the word "limited" to refer to anything God does. However, at the heart of this Doctrine is the proclamation of the unlimited perfection, depth, and majesty of Christ's work on the cross. This week, Pastor Josh Blunt helps us to navigate through the doctrine of "Limited Atonement," and how it tells the story of God's unlimited and particular love for His sheep, and highlights the amazing Grace and God-centered core of the Gospel.

This week, Pastor Josh Blunt launches us on a new sermon series, TULIP Time, celebrating the Gospel through the 5 doctrines of Grace. In this message, Pastor Josh takes us through Isaiah 64 in light of Total Depravity, which means that we are all utterly and permanently unable to save ourselves. This also means that our only hope lies in God's mercy and kindness to us by grace.

Jesus’ resurrection changes everything! Our identity in Christ calls us to live every moment in light of his resurrection power as it shapes our community. God calls people into the community of the church in order that the church may share God’s blessings in the gospel with the nations.
