Last year at Miami Music Week, I chatted with Nick Warren about his past career achievements. This year, Nick joined Super Progressive for a conversation about the present and the future.

Very few DJs have achieved the longevity that Nick Warren has, and even fewer can say that they are more popular in 2023 than they were in the 1990s and early 2000s. But that's the case for Nick Warren.

Nick has found a second home in Argentina, highlighted by his friendship and professional work with Hernan Cattaneo, and along with Petra, he has taken the Soundgarden label to unimaginable heights, as it now stands as one of the world's most popular and loved labels in underground dance music.

In this conversation, I catch up with Nick Warren and discuss what motivates him today.

In this episode, William interviews his mate Lloyd Barwood co-founder of Pick N Mix about the steps he took to release his first progressive house track, which is now available on Beatport! This is a great episode for producers who have dreams of releasing progressive house music on a label...

Note from William: I met Lloyd when I first started Super Progressive and around the same time he was starting Pick n Mix over in London. We both had the same goal... to introduce our friends to what progressive music is really all about. About a year ago, we grabbed dinner in London, and since then, we've shared epic conversations about what this music means to us, and we even got to go to a club night together for the Selador 10th Birthday Party in London with Steve Parry, Dave Seaman, and Hernan Cattaneo. So to see him achieve his first few releases has been amazing to see... and trust me, there's plenty more music coming from Lloyd!

Sandwiched between their Miami Music Week Sudbeat Showcase and the Sudbeat takeover of Stereo in Montreal, I sit down with Graziano Raffa and Cesar Romero (Simply City) and discuss topics ranging from their origins in the scene, Sudbeat, Stereo, and lessons learned from Hernan Cattaneo. This was one of my favorite conversations I've had so far, so I hope you enjoy.

Last year, we chatted with Hernan Cattaneo about his past and the history of progressive house. This year on the Set Underground boat, we chat about the present.

In this interview, Hernan and William discuss how Argentina have become the global leaders of the progressive sound, established talents like Martin Garcia, and the up-and-coming talent coming out of Argentina today.

At the beginning and end of the episode, you will hear Ruben and William reflect on the interview and what the whole experience was like. We hope you enjoy!
