Travis Lee is Internationally known as the expert in getting direct mail delivered, opened and read.
As a Co-founder and President of 3D Mail Results, he generates huge returns for thousands of businesses each year who use his innovative and effective marketing strategies.
His unique, yet tested marketing methods have helped add millions of dollars in sales to a wide variety of businesses, from “kitchen-table-run” sole-proprietors, to National and Multi-National businesses mailing millions of pieces of mail a year, consistently providing a positive returns of 200% to over 3500% for his clients.

Here are the highlights of this episode:
2:15 Travis’ ideal Client: We work mainly with small to medium size businesses who are looking to grow their businesses with direct mail. We are working mainly with service-based businesses and professional practices like doctors, dentist, auto repair shops. And the common thing a lot of them have is that they are commonly overwhelmed with all the new shiny objects available especially online. They're looking for more consistent way to find and convert customers and patients without the changing rules of the online platforms. They are looking for a medium with some less competition. The mail boxes is not fully as they used to be. And if they are in the B2B sector, if they're looking to shorten their sales cycle and tighten up that time from time of first contact to the money-changing hands.
3:35Problem Travis helps solve: We allow people to have more conversations with the right person, develop deep relationships, because every transaction that happens, every business transaction or even in our personal lives starts with a conversation. So, having that coherent conversation, getting to know the person building that relationship leads to any other thing that we want in life. Whether we are looking for funding, whether we were looking for a new client, or whether we are looking at it.
4:36Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Travis: The frustration with all the different things going on online. Ebbs and flows of sales, so high peaks when they turn the marketing on, and low values when they turn it off, that rollercoaster motion. And if they're living in the online world, their adds and cost are increasing, cost per click, cost per impression and all that stuff. Cost per acquisition is going up. and all that leads to one certainty which is what we don't want as a business owner.
5:46What are some of the common mistakes that folks make before finding Travis and his solution: The biggest problem I see, is they do the random acts of marketing. They walk into the office one day and say "crap, I need customers, I need new ones, I need my old ones to come back" and they turned the marketing faucet on. Marketing is not about random acts of marketing; it needs to be about systems. Any business is built on system, and same with advertising and direct mail.

But is it feasible to build an online business around gardening. If you know enough about gardening that's great. You can't just pick a hobby that you're good at and think you can make money with that. Try to figure out your niche,

2:53Problem Dr. Sanchez helps solve: For every people, I've been talking about the value of knowing their WHY; from the Bible, to Mark Twain to Simon Sinek. People have been talking about this forever. Simon Sinek added the HOW and the WHAT, then it became more complex and complicated. And so when I saw that concept, I had already taken myself to what I believe was a very highly qualified dentist. I felt that I was an expert in dentistry but I wasn't getting the recognition. And when I saw that concept of WHY, it made so much sense to me, that's the part that I'm missing. I became obsessed with discovering my WHY. And once I figured out my WHY, then I figured out the process for helping others to help others discover their WHY. 2:18 Cory’s ideal Client: My ideal customer is in B2B; they market to businesses. That typically includes consultants, business coaches, recruiters, insurance investment advisors, and experts. People that are the perceive authority in their industry.
2:46Problem Cory helps solve: The common problem is the revenue; it always comes down to clients. And beyond just getting clients, it's about getting the "right kind" of clients. Because you can certainly get the wrong kind of clients; clients that don't take action, hard to work with, you don't really enjoy working with. They don't have the mindset of abundance, more of having scarcity mindset, so we've all been there. So, we thought of a different way we like working with, that are agreeable, that actually has budget to spend, and I think that's the big part of it. We focus on getting clients we enjoy working with.
4:27Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Cory: If you're sitting there and your calendar is empty, you wake up Monday morning and you look up what you have going on during the week, two things you teach is actually how to make more money and how to save more money. Out there those business owners, as sales professionals, we go out there and look at on how we bring in clients, how to bring in revenue, how to bring in income. That way we can do the things we want to do, and how you can accomplish that? It comes down to getting clients. Money comes from people, that's what closing deals is all about. How do you know you have a problem? Is that you're sitting there, you're worried about your income, you're worried about your take-home pay, you're worried about your client deals, you're sitting having no idea what to do next.
7:14What are some of the common mistakes that folks make before finding Cory and his solution: The biggest mistake that I see that people make is that, you're out there pushing. It comes down to two things, number one is Action. Most people are not doing anything. I love word-of-mouth, word-of-mouth is amazing. Word-of-mouth customers are incredible when you get them, they're easy to closed. They just feel so good but most people don't have that consistently. If you don't have enough clients, you know you won't have enough word-of-mouth. Secondly, you try to do things that alot of people tells you to do and it's not working. You are out there trying to message out, trying to cold calls, cold emails,
