SuperCoach Champions

Catfish and Bear are back (although this was recorded prior to this weekend's round of trial games) and chat more about the strategy of 2020. We breakdown where we think the most critical position for SuperCoach will be this year, what're the easiest and hardest positions to handle this season and go through our thoughts on some of the key players in those various positions.

So if you want to hear about fullbacks, hookers, prop forwards and second row forwards, we talk about plenty of them this week!

Thank you as always for your kind reviews and ratings, we really do appreciate them all! And we did mention our Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/NRLSC_Champions - please have a browse and see if you want to get involved!

So this is a bit of a special treat - it's a snapshot into the Champs Only preseason podcast series that is available for our Patreon supporters, the Champs, only. So this is an excerpt from the episode on the Hooker position, and it's almost a month old so keep that in mind if you're wondering about why some injuries aren't being mentioned. If you like what you hear, there's more of that exclusive content so feel free to check out our Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/NRLSC_Champions - if you'd like to hear more.

Catfish and Bear will be back very soon with another episode where we discuss some of your players of interest as suggested via Twitter.

The 2020 preseason continues and we're stoked to have the 2019 overall champion, Declan Creek (follow him on Twitter @DezHassler) join us. Yes that's right, us - Bear is back and he joins Catfish to chat with Dez this week.

We review Dez's winning season, including some key takeaways on strategies to consider for 2020, where the season was won (and almost lost) and we couldn't help ourselves, but we talk about a few players for the 2020 season as well.

The third 2020 preseason episode features another special guest, the premier Late Mail Man, Wacko Jacko himself of 'Wackos Whispers' fame. Make sure you follow him on Twitter - @wackoswhispers to stay on top of any final team list changes and other mail as it becomes available.

Catfish and Wacko talk rookies, from preseason fancies to potential mid-season rookies, and we go through a few players from all 16 teams to either consider for your Round 1 team, or mid-season downgrade options, or even potential nuff options - there's a little something for everyone!

Heads-up on some potential audio issues; it may be a good idea to use headphones that cater for stereo (not just mono) sound.

The second 2020 preseason episode focuses on all the injuries, surgeries and recoveries spanning from the late 2019 season, the 2019 post-season, the offseason and the 2020 preseason; and what better person to have on to discuss this than the man himself, Mr Brien Seeney a.k.a. the genius behind the NRLPhysio account (follow him if you're not already doing so on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. - @nrlphysio).

Brien shares his detailed knowledge and research around a variety of players - should we be worried or excited about Jason Taumalolo, Tom Trbojevic, Jake Trbojevic, Ryan James, Esan Marsters and many more!
