Matt the Ratt joins us and reveals what he saw in a special preview screening of Marvel's upcoming Doctor Strange. Martin gets organized with a little help from an unwitting sponsor. We discuss the our favorite scary movies and video games.  There's also some Punk music, a book recommendation, and a little singing!

We are having a little trouble saying goodbye to Vin Scully, so we celebrate his work yet again.  We then do a quick recap of the first Presidential debate. Also, Martin teaches a couple of old dogs a thing or two about Rock n' Roll!

John Sandy and I talk about great animated movies and Sherlock Holmes.  Then we turn our focus on the man who has made it summer in Los Angeles for 67 years, Vin Scully.

A special guest returns for a discussion of Penny Dreadful, crappy bands, and the best year in music (?).  There are a few technical glitches (the recorder stopped working due to my heavy hand), but I edited the episode so the transitions are slightly less jarring than usual.

We are joined by and extra special guest this week, Eduardo Cifuentes, of Wednesday Night board game fame.  He joins Jake, Patrick and myself to discuss the passing of Gene Wilder, but not before Patrick takes us into uncharted territory.  In the second segment we discuss the film Kubo and other studio Laika films.  In the 3rd segment, we challenge each other over who knows Eduardo the best, and we play a round of "Who Would Win?".  We put a big bow on it with a few board game recommendations.

First time podcaster Jake Willard join us for a 90 minute roller coaster of the human experience.  We kick things off with a discussion of the Rogue One Trailer, followed by a review of No Man's Sky.  In the third segment, Jake helps the unwary navigate the minefield that is OK Cupid.  We are also able to squeeze in a quick game of Choose One.
