Mississippi's independent pharmacies have been forced to take artificially low reimbursements for years because PBMs have used their influence to force them into non-negotiable contracts. Attorney General Lynn Fitch says it's against the law, and she's fighting back. Fitch secured a temporary restraining order against GoodRx, MS CVS, and Inside Rx that keeps them from forcing pharmacies to take discount card program reimbursements involuntarily.
