    Vicksburg police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of the Waffle House on East Clay Street on Saturday. Investigators say gunfire rang out as two vehicles were leaving. Two vehicles and three of the windows of the Waffle House were damaged. No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred around 4 a.m. Plus, a Mendenhall man accidentally drowned near Ratliff Ferry in Rankin County on Saturday. Witnesses told Reservoir police that 25-year-old Jordan Willis jumped into the water from the back of a pontoon boat and never resurfaced.

A handful of Rebels also signed undrafted free agent deals after the draft. Former D'Iberville High School star Justin Walley, who played his college years at Minnesota, was selected by the Indianapolis Colts.

    Vicksburg police are investigating several weekend shootings that they believe are related. Shots were fired at 4 a.m. on Sunday at Arcadia Street. While investigating that incident, another call of shots fired in the area of 2nd North Street came in. A 23-year-old male with gunshot wounds was transported to a hospital in Jackson due to the severity of his injuries. Meanwhile, a 19-year-old female's ear was grazed by a bullet. Investigators believe the shooting began as a domestic dispute between two males involving the female, and that incident could be connected to a shooting early Saturday morning.

    Canton police are looking for two suspects after a fatal shooting at Canton Estates Apartments just before 11 p.m. on April 22.
    Law enforcement officers are looking for Renardo Elmore and Percy Rogers, who witnesses identified. The victim--22-year-old Megeil Tyrone Walsh--was found unresponsive in the parking lot of the complex.
