Both the Ole Miss and Southern Miss baseball teams stayed hot. It wasn’t as successful of a weekend for No. 18 Mississippi State, which dropped two of three in the Astros Foundation College Classic. Over on the hardwood, both Ole Miss and Mississippi State found much-needed wins as NCAA (“N-C-Double-A”) Tournament hopes remain alive and well. Sean Pedulla (Puh-doo-luh) hit a clutch three to lead the Rebels to an 87 to 84 win over Oklahoma, while Josh Hubbard scored 30 to power the No. 24 Bulldogs over LSU.
