Master the Art of Checking In with Self | 4 Steps to Support Your Emotions & Further Inner Discovery
Many of us aren't living the lives that we want, because we are too afraid to fail.
However we define failure, it feels like a such a crippling experiencing, we would rather play small and live life unsatisfied, then to deal with it head on.
While I like to put the majority of the blame on the schooling system, we each have a role to play, when it comes to the behaviours we allow that hurt us and that help us. This includes the way we navigate the possibility of failing.
In truth, if you've never failed, you've never really tried.
Living and learning, it involves failing as a prerequisite. You're not going to know what to do if you're embracing the experience of figuring it out. It's pretty much how you figure things out... failing your way to success.
And unless you embrace the bumps and bruises that come with the failures that pave your way to success... the likelihood that you'll experiencing succeeding (by the million and one definitions of success), is likely small.
So don't play small.
