So you see what happened was..... while trying to support yet another conversation being held by a group of angry women, I was treated with the same respect as the deceased Kevin Samuels! I uttered one thing the women didn't like, which led to them silencing me. Well, they didn't realize they ran across the lemon man. Whenever life hands me lemons I squeeze. I managed to squeeze a great conversation with my "SISTA" Empress of the "Melanin Personified" Podcast. She managed to not only add to the conversation but also segway into deeper issues. The Clear agenda!!!!! #supportshudbfree
Welcome to Support Shud B Free!!!! The ultimate chat roulette where it is usually bound to get dicey. #supportshudbfree
Next Tuesday we have another interesting episode. Be sure to join us as we talk about Black Women being "MAD" as well as when "TROLLING" goes wrong. Shoutout to all the participants in the conversation and this social experiment.
Daily we hear overused and abused terms and if I'm being honest I am tired. TIED! TYDE!!! Any variations are welcomed in this case. So you see what happened was I was on "Stereo" and ran across IMDATBROWNGUY (AKA KING PETTY ON DA WEEKENDS), who was also frustrated with the amount of online social mental health counselors. We linked up in the backchats section of the metaverse and decided to bring a fun episode and actual English to our defense in the live podcasting skreets known as "Stereo". Buzzword!!!! Join us as we dissect these definitions and his they are being overused. Bonus we get called out for a game of Buzzwords!
It’s disgusting that racism is still a thing, though times have improved slightly, one area that has taken too long is television. As a melanated person who has grown up in the television era, I notice that there is a lack of representation for people of color like myself and Token.
Imagine growing up watching television and seeing only people who look different than you, such as in One Tree Hill. If you are Clear, imagine growing up and only having access to shows such as The Cosby Show, Black-ish, or Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air to get some sense of normality in skin color. Watching shows like iCarly, Girl Meets World, etc. where the cast is predominately Clear (white), makes me feel vulnerable and, in a sense, ashamed of who I was because I didn’t see anyone who looked like me.
