How many paths are there to God? Answer: One. To many that seems restrictive or unloving. But here's the truth. There was only one solution to sin and the problems in this dark world and his name is Jesus. Anyone who is saved is saved by Christ alone. That brings us great comfort and it also fires us up to tell people about Jesus!

There is a lot of noise out there and there are a lot of voices that want you to listen to them. You want to listen to someone who you can trust, someone in whom you can have confidence. Paul gives you the answer... the God-breathed Word. This Word will make you wise for salvation and is always useful! Take in the Word and let the Word shape your life.

How do you know that you have faith? Maybe it is not a question that you have pondered before. But the more you think about it... are there times in your life where you have felt your faith is strong? And are there other times in your life that your faith feels weak? Faith that is based in works is always uncertain and has no solid ground. But faith that looks to Jesus is strong. Faith that looks to Jesus saves.

Some things are best communicated in pictures. Grace may just be one of those things. Grace is not something that we understand on our own, because grace is completely contrary to the way we are wired. Yet, in the Bible we see grace. We see the grace of our Father who always forgives and who welcomes us back with open arms. This sermon is based on Luke 15:11-32.

How many times would you have to reject someone for them to give up on you? Maybe 1 or 2 times? The Israelites consistently rejected God, yet God continued to send them his Word through prophets and he eventually sent his Son. We can find our own hearts in the hearts of the Israelites, we are sinners just like them. But we can also give thanks for Jesus flipping the script, rejection turned to salvation. That is yours through Christ!

Outrage Culture is a thing nowadays. Yet, outrage reveals something in people's hearts, something that only God can change. The Canaanite woman from this section of Scripture is evidence of a beautiful, changed heart of faith.
