Fasten those baby seats, y'all. We got a real humdinger of an episode here. It's a good news, bad news situation, folks. On one hand, we are introduced to our new singer of the Dreams, Samantha Woo.Woohoo!! On the other hand, we see all four of our leading men being the WORST by trying to be the first to kiss her. Oh, 1993, you little stinker! 

We bring on our good friend and fellow musician/engineer/physicist, Michael Zucker to make sense of this somewhat problematic episode. There is a new song in this episode and Jake's guitar chords are again pretty SUSPECT at best. We also say goodbye to the Garrison patriarch, Dick. You've served us so well. On this farewelly episode of Surf Dudes with Attitude, we say goodbye to Jenny Garrison on California Dreams. She leaves the show after 15ish episodes. Her snark and keyboard prowess will be missed. Jake’s Song

Holy Season Sequel, Batman! We have returned! After a short absence, the CORE THREE are back in the studio to talk about the triumphant reappearance of the gang in California Dreams: Season 2. This just feels like a whole new show, I gotta tell you. After 13 episodes, we’ve traded in an entire Garrison sibling for a new, shiny SCHOOL! That’s right! They shunter all of our conspiracy theories about their homeschooling and head to a real, live, learning curriculum. They meet Jake Sommers in this episode and boy, is he a rough-edged, babe-magnet with a soft penchant for writing soft, sweet stanzas. Matt is having trouble writing lyrics… could this be KISMET or KISS-MEt?

Peat is obsessed with Tiff’s wet hair after a whole season of surfing LIES. George wants to talk about the new intro and Zac is on some street corner bible-thumping and sermonizing that Jake and Matt are the newest It-Couple in Los Angeles. This season is going to have even more surprises and special guests here on Surf Dudes with Attitude. Thanks so much for coming back to us. We’ve missed you so much!! LET’S DO IT!

In this SHOCKING first season finale of California Dreams, Matt and Jenny are left in charge of Dennis for a weekend. And in a stunning turn of events, they lose their dumb brother. Peat has already spoiled that this is the last appearance of both parents (RIP Dick and Melody) as well as the titular Dennis. Thoughts and prayers are welcome in this difficult time. We dive into what might have actually happened to Dennis as he gets relocated to that great actor farm upstate to join the many other brethren that have been raptured from TV Land. 

We finally get to see a goddamned living room set. The Boom Mic makes a special, late-season cameo and we discuss muscular lip-aerobics. And does the Beta version of cast-favorite Jake make a first appearance in this episode? You be the judge. Peat, Zach and George discuss gratitude for completing this first season of their podcast. No foolin'... It's been a ton of fun and we have a lof of radical stuff planned. Stay tuned for some special between-season shows. We'll be back with the start of season 2 on May 22nd!! We're here for another mistress affair with Side Project! In these episodes, we dissect other band-centric media. We take this Cessna plane all the way to Connecticut to meet the Bauer and Micelli families in Who's the Boss?. Sam starts managing a band led by Al and his Brooklyn beautician buddies. She soon realizes that's a lot harder than it sounds. Well, nooooooooo shit.

We are dumbstruck surprised how realistic this episode was. Like, no cap, this was a trip. If only we could find as dedicated a manager as Samantha. We bask in the warmth and glow of an establishing shot after being deprived of all Vitamin D in the California Dreams universe.

Surprise! It's like the second cup of milkshake you get at an old school diner when they make too make for one silver tin! We were able to track down the actor that played the villain in last week's episode. He agreed to talk to us about his time on California Dreams, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Tribes! In this ambiguously titled episode, we meet Jenny's ex, Eric Cardinal. He's a bit of a self-centered, vain, thespian JERK. Not only has he strolled back into camera frame, he's also asking Jennifer for another chance. Will Jenny get back together with the new lead actor of the school play? Will it affect her standing in the California Dreams now that they've been offered a show two hours away in Santa Barbara? Where will their equipment go in their new van!?
