Pb: O sol brilhava forte sobre a Praia de Ipanema.
En: The sun was shining brightly over Praia de Ipanema.

Pb: Era verão e a praia estava cheia de turistas e moradores.
En: It was summer, and the beach was full of tourists and locals.

Pb: Luzes de Natal enfeitavam as palmeiras, piscando alegremente enquanto os sons de risadas e das ondas enchiam o ar.
