SURIAL

This week we delve deeper into the work-life of Grace Peppernickle. We visit with her coworkers Mick Hendrix and Twyla Joplin, as well as the mayor of Tuscola, Kyle Maclin.

Grace Peppernickle was a small-town girl with aspirations of giving back to her community the only way she could see fit. Through health inspection. In this episode, we begin the story of how Graces hopes were flip turned upside down. By doing her job, she caused her entire home town to hate her. This season we learn about drugs, love, pigs, and eventually, falafel. Surial is back with a brand new, completely made-up story, told week to week. We start with Grace. This is her story.

If you ask any psychologist what the greatest factor in a persons personality is, they will tell you its their relationship with their parents. Jimmy Bludonski only gave us the tip iceberg when asked about his. This week we talk to James parents in the hope of learning more about him.

Since the fire at the Pi Gamma Sigma house Jimmy Bludonski has not had a great life. But what about his life before? Was it good? Did something happen in high school that made Jimmy who he is? Will exploring his past give us perspective on weather he started the fire? This week we explore those very questions.

Back in September of 2013 James Bludonski was a freshman at Kishwaukee Valley Technical School in Valley Glenn Illinois. A small University town, surrounded by fields of corn. A young man, starting his life, trying to fit in. Now, James is a senior at Kishwaukee Valley tech. What has changed? For the past three plus years James has been on academic probation, and is a social pariah. The reason? James attended a frat party at the Pi Gamma Sigma house on campus, and that night the house burned to the ground. James was blamed by many. Did he do it?
